  • Bring a water bottle and towel.

    For yoga or Pilates, bring your own mat. For outdoor HIIT or strength, workout gloves are optional but helpful. We'll let you know in advance if any specific gear is needed.

  • Not at all. Most of our classes are beginner-friendly and adaptable.

    We meet you where you are, whether you're returning to movement, starting from scratch, or building consistency.

  • If a park class is cancelled due to weather, you'll receive an email and app notification.

    We’ll either move the session indoors (when possible) or offer a class credit.

  • Nope.

    Classes are led in English, but you don’t need to be fluent. Our coaches use clear visual demos, gentle cues, and a welcoming tone that’s easy to follow. Many of our members are multilingual or non-native speakers.

  • Yes, children are welcome at outdoor sessions as long as they're able to safely play or rest nearby. Please keep an eye on them throughout class.

    Some indoor classes also allow older children, just reach out to confirm in advance. Pilates and yoga classes are designed to support focus and relaxation, so we kindly ask that you consider the atmosphere and other participants when deciding whether it’s the right setting for your child.

  • Yes, we offer pre- and postnatal-friendly classes that include safe, supportive modifications. 

    While not all classes are suitable for every stage, many of our offerings are accessible with the right guidance. We always encourage you to listen to your body and let your coach know before class so we can support you appropriately.

  • Yes, booking in advance helps us manage class size and equipment.

    You can book online or through our app. Some classes fill quickly, so please book your class by 8 pm the evening before.

  • You can pause or cancel at any time.

  • Click the “free trial link” or, under "memberships," click to "purchase" a free trial.

    It’s a one-time option for new members and the perfect way to get a feel for the community.

  • We hold classes in parks and studios around central Tokyo.

    Exact locations are listed on the class calendar. You'll also receive location details and meeting points when you book.

  • Classes can be booked up to the start time.

    To receive credit for a cancellation, you must cancel at least 2 hours before the class start time.

    If a class is canceled by Urban Heroes within 2 hours of the scheduled start time due to a coach emergency or illness, your credit will be refunded in full and no penalty will apply.

    • Upgrades can be applied immediately so you can start enjoying your new benefits right away.

    • Downgrades require at least 7 days’ notice before your next billing date and will take effect from your next billing cycle.
